This is information and the procedure to place an appeal with PunksBusted.com. Please take the time and read this carefully

The most important thing before anything else. DON'T post on the PsB forums about your ban. You're likely to be flamed and any post like this will be closed or deleted by our moderators pointing to this topic.

The second important thing is read this link that has important information first.
Warning! Don't Download Or Test Cheats
An appeal opened with PsB is not a right. It is a courtesy extended by PsB as a public relations gesture. Success of an appeal is at PsB's discretion.

There are three basic ban types. PsB only deals with one kind. So please discover what type you have first by reading the following.
  1. Local Server Bans:
This ban is only on a specific server. You will find that all other servers you can still join but that one. This situation is where an admin of a server has decided you are no longer welcome there. This is up to that admin and is not part of PsB's system. You need to contact the admin or post on their forums to deal with them. This has nothing to do with PsB or EvenBalance (Punkbuster).
  2. PsB AMBL Bans. More commonly known as MBL Bans:
These are the bans that PsB does control and are all across our member servers. You may find that a lot of good servers suddenly are not available to you and you get the same message on them all. These servers include privately owned, league and some official servers operated by game companies. The key point is that all these servers subscribe to PsB's Auto-MBL system. This is the ban type that you file an appeal for here at PsB. PsB doesn't unban because your brother did it, saying you won't do it again ("second chance") or similar excuses. We ban via the GUID and not by player at the keyboard. PsB has a zero tolerance policy for cheats on your system. PsB does not unban leaked cd-keys/guids no matter who claims ownership. If this is the case, you will need to purchase a new copy of the game.
  3. Global Guid or Hardware Ban:
These are the bans that affect all PB supported games and are under the control of Even Balance, the maker of PunkBuster. You must address those bans directly with EvenBalance via their ticket system. A list of the links for each game is supplied at the bottom of this FAQ. Here is an important link to a message about global bans. PB Global Bans
PsB Ban Appeal System, HowTo:
Prepare first with the following information: -
  1. Your FULL GUID (type pb_myguid in the console to obtain it while connected to a pb server). This is not your cd-key and never send your cd-key to anyone.
  2. GUID and/or the ban entry from the MBL. Or the Ban ID - This is an 8 digit hex number starting with V, S or L - e.g.V00007A02. Search our database: Player Index
  3. Background on what you think has happened, detailing why you think it is a mistake.
  4. Any supporting evidence that shows the ban is in error.
  5. Email the whole lot to appeal@punksbusted.com with "Ban Appeal" and your ban ID or GUID in the subject line
Important notes on step 5.
  • It is important that you not to change the subject header as you respond to each inquiry from PsB. Read the info about this when you recieve confirmation of reciept of the email. Just use 'reply'.
  • Make sure your email client sends in plain text. No HTML emails, (especially Hotmail and other free email users take note).
  • Do not send ANY attachments unless requested.
  • Our staff are volunteers and do not take kindly to being sworn at or insulted - this will result in the appeal being closed immediately.

UPDATE
Ensure the phrase "Ban Appeal" appears in your email subject - otherwise your message may be mistaken as spam and deleted.
