Using PBSetup with PSB.

Introduction
------------
PunkBuster Setup (PBSetup) is a small utility written by Even Balance as
a replacement to PBWeb.

The advantages of PBSetup are that it can update multiple games at
once, it's quicker and provides a nice central control to your PB updates
for game clients.

With this version of PSB we've added a Tools menu which allows you to
add any tool you want to the PSB menus. Specificly we will take you
through configuring PSB to run PBSetup before you join a server.

Instructions
------------
1) Install PBSetup. Note the location you installed it to.

2) Run PBSetup and configure it for your games. Basicly tell it where
your PB enabled games are installed.

3) Run PSB

4) From the main menu, select Tools | Configure Tools

5) Click the Add button.

6) In the Tool Properties dialog, browse to the location of PBSetup.
You noted this location in step 1.

7) Select PBSetup.

8) In the title edit, enter a logical title. This is the entry that's
displayed in the tools menu. You can use the & to underline a
character. For example &PBSetup will have the 'P' of PBSetup underlined
in the menu.

9) In the parameters box, add: -
/u /q --i-accept-the-pb-eula
/u means "Update"
/q means "Be quiet - no dialogs."
--i-accept-the-pb-eula means don't show the EULA dialog.

10) If you want to run PBSetup before you join a server then make sure
the "Run on joining a server" checkbox is ticked.

11) We recommend you tick "Wait till finished". If you have a lot of
games installed, even PBSetup can take a bit of time to run. We don't
know how successful updating a PB Client that is in use will be.

12) If you want to choose each time whether or not to run PBSetup each
time you join a server then make sure "Prompt On Run" is ticked.



That should do it. Makes it MUCH easier to ensure you PunkBuster client
is up to date before joining a server. This in turn will let you play
sooner (if your client is out of date) and will cause you less lag
because your client won't be updating while you are playing.
