This is an uber important step and I spent an extra hour of set up because I couldnt find this in your .pdf (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Would be an awesome addition to it.
This sucker works and I'm estatic with its performance, thank you for this! TWL needs to accept it as a tool to get rid of binders in matches.
Will do.
I'll also need to add that if you want to use the language filter it needs to be set to 3. If not then 1 should do.
Also, the language filter will only work with games where PB sends the chat text with the logs. CoD 4 does it but I believe other games don't.
Edit: As ever, if anyone can think of a useful addition then let me know and I'll try and add it (that's how you got the bad language filter!)
Cheers.

Ok. I'm testing this with a Ranked Battlefield 2 server with multiplay (clanforge). The whole tool looks pretty cool (industrial look... hehe) and useful. Just one thing....
Nothing on the server apart from the "pbsv.cfg" and "pbucon.use" files. Files setup as explained and uploaded through clanforge. Setup at my end (ports exceptions on router/firewall).
So into "[FUD] Binds Kicker.exe"
Server ip & port I used (only port I got results from) was the actual game server (where players join). Ok. So now i get results. It connects and notifies me there are players onthe server (in console & language filter tab, although not after someones been kicked and rejoins till next map).
I get this through; (I've masked ip's and login details.)
ok. so a positive output but it's not transmitting back (right?!?).
In game as a player you can get kicked manually (using the "Temp Ban" button in the "Language Filter" tab.
So the issues i get are;
It does not send chat messages in any form (using the say command, messaging or language filter notifications.
It does not recieve in-game chat, and the Language filter does not pick up on all my swearing. (same thing) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ermm.gif)
After a player gets kicked, they no longer appear in the server list on the language filter tab (Fixes on server restart but I'm not sure about map changes)
I'm figuring this is the related error message;
QUOTE
TCP Listen Socket closed due to broken connection
Is this anything to do with the fact that Battlefield 2 uses different game, admin & query ports?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif) Thats my resoloution anyway, but I'm not sure how you'd implement that into the software. I'm also guessing you intended this for COD4 so possibly haven't ever seen how BF2 uses it. I also don't want this post to seem like a moan as I would like to use this on our servers too. Any info I've missed or whatever let me know.
Thanks

Transmitting back? Not sure what that means, but from your output, PBUcon is working.

That message is because of the way the program speaks to PBUcon.exe. I might remove it from printing, but it is handy for debug sometimes. The kicked player is supposed to be removed from that list since they are no longer in the server. When they re-join it should put them back on the list (its a "players in server" list).
Unfortunately all games are not created equal. I've just checked the BF2 PunkBuster Admin guide and PB_SV_SAY is not a command and, more importantly, PB_SV_BINDSRCH isn't either (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) That effectively makes this program useless for BF2 (and I suspect all versions of BF). Nothing I can do about that, sorry.

Indeed your conclusions are pretty good. I did intend this for CoD 4 and haven't checked which other games support the pb_sv_BindSearch command. I did assume (wrongly it seems) that pb_sv_say was universal though...
So thanks for all your efforts. I intend to re-write the User Guide at some point and I'll give you a "testers" mention under the unsupported games section.
Hi guys, first up thanks for this awesome tool, it seems to work fantastically on its own. We have issues running it along side the Morkeye Language Tool though, which I suspect is actually a problem with the way Morkeye itself handles pbucon access, but given I'm a numpty with these things, thought I would ask and see. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
Morkeye can be found here for anyone not familiar with it.
It would seem if we start Morkeye First, then FUD, that Morkeye no longer kicks for language. This morning I have tried starting FUD first, then Morkeye, and they seem to kick ok now, so we will see how that goes.
I'll look into it over the next few days. These days (as of about version 1.2 onwards) it shouldn't be possible for it to conflict, but something always seems to creep in from the sideline (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
Bind Kicker has a language filter too. To use it you would need to set the Ucon type to "3" though, not "1".
I've found the issue when running Morkeye. Actually it is possible for this to happen when running any other PBUcon tool from your desktop. But you have discovered the short-term fix Kinsman, good work (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Having found the issue I'll fix it up in the next couple of days. Standby for an update to v1.32 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
Thanks Kinsman for bringing this to my attention. The only possible way I can know about bugs and clashes is if you guys notify me.

Hey! We're running a public server where we kick players if they use nadelauncher. It's become a popular server, but it gets tedious having to manually warn and kick players who ignore messages and server rules. So would it be possible to make this tool give a warning to players when they use nadelauncher, and after 3 warnings that player gets kicked/banned? Not just nadelauncher of cource, but give admins a list over weapons and perks that they can choose to disallow or not. I have seen something similar on another server where they do the same thing, only with mounted sawgun, but couldn't get them to reveal how they did this.... =( I know you can use mods to limit perks and weapons, but that results in an unranked server.
The only thing I can think of at the moment would be to check kills for the weapon type and kick for that, but kills are not streamed by PBUcon, so Bind Kicker can't do it.
Unfortunately I think it's a manual job unless IW add cvars to control weapons (not even weapons, its weapon add-ons which is even more unlikely to be added). Either way I don't think Bind Kicker could help (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
I couldn't tell you how to turn off the Fixed MGs without going unranked either though, so if it turns out there is a way to do it let me know and I'll try and incorporate it.
