All of a sudden I started getting kicked for corrupted file memory 120148. Hasn't done it ever before anyone know what it's all about? I don't cheat. The worse i've done is use mini image mounted instead of DVD so I tried unmounting ect. but no luck.

I get this as well...after a complete removal and reinstall.
Also checked to make sure all of my drivers were upto date but no change.

Don't bother re-installing guys - I just started getting this error message (on BF 2142 - not BF 2) and my first action was to do a complete restore from backup of my system drive (much better than a re-install :-)) and I still get the problem after the restore.

Punkbuster would appear to be faulty i.e. we are all getting the same error message out of the blue and I don't use cheats!

Damn - is there any way of checking whether PB has just updated itself and installed a stupid version?

Pete

P.S. Just checked my PB sub-directory in BF 2142 and there are new files in there dated today - 18th April, 2009. The application and system file are both new with a time of 3:24pm - about when this stupid problem started happening on my game.

Idiots at PB - I assume everybody will soon be suffering this problem.

i am getting this as well in both COD 4 and COD 5, it started today. I played some COD 4 earlier and the game was fine, started for me at aournd 8PM today.

I found one post from a COD2 user and seems as though he could never get it fixed, he did report a diff number than 120148.

Have any of you started to do some overclocking? i started yesterday and today i get this error, good timing i guess?

Fill out a support ticket with Evenbalance. They will most likely know what that error message means.

I am running a Dell gaming notebook - no overclocking or any changes at all, just logged into BF 2142 and started getting the error message. Just asked another clan member (over Vent) if he was having a problem and he said not - but it is too co-incidental that all of us are getting the same error message. I have lodged a ticket with even balance.
