Full Version: Call Of Duty 4 Punkbuster Error (a1394 C2.032)

I keep getting an error while playing Call of Duty 4 within the first few minutes and am kicked from every server.

This is what the message says, "...This server requires (A1394 C2.032) - error loading pbag"

The first part of the message just says that my player name has been kicked for (0) minutes...nothing of importance.

I have ran PBsetup twice and it says it is fully updated. Yet I still run into this problem.

I do not have a firewall, I do use NOD32 Antivirus. I am using Windows Vista Business (32-bit) OS.

I will try running PBsetup a few more times and disabling my Antivirus and come back with an update.

Thanks for any help you can provide me.

Can't figure out how to edit my own post.

Anyways I turned off my NOD32. Checked any other services that might be running that could affect Punkbuster (antivirus, spyware) and I disabled MSASCUI for Windows Defender.

I played for the few minutes that I am able to and I get, "...PB client not responding."

I would really like to know what the hell is going on as it is frustrating that I can't even play.

Thanks again.

I found this information on another website...

"CoD 4 MP PB Freeze FIX

OK I have found the fix for this and it works for everyone.

The reason this is happening is because Punkbuster services are disconnecting your internet due to old MotherBoard and Ethernet Drivers.

Fix:

Download latest motherboard drivers and install
If you have a separate Ethernet card download latest drivers for this and install.

I will be updating my Motherboard Drivers as well as my Ethernet Card and see if anything works.

I will keep you all updated.

Well updating my Motherboard Drivers, Ethernet Drivers as well as my Video Card drivers seemed to do the trick.

Might be helpful for ANYONE who is having PB issues to update every piece of hardware they have...

Well done. Driver updating is very important and hopefully others can learn from your experience.

Cheers.
