PB_Kick [slot #]

Requests that a specific player be removed from the game; this command is part of the PB Player Power facility

Ok. Most of us are very annoyed because after voting people out of the server, they will appear immediately back. This is because normal vote kicking does not ban anybody from server.

There is better and more effective way to kick people out but it works only on servers with PunkBuster enabled.

Solution is : 'PunkBuster Power Kicking'

First you need identify the player you want to vote out. In this case it was Grenade Spammer called 'Jack' (name changed). I go to console and resolve his _PunkBuster_ slot id. This is essential that you resolve PunkBuster slot id and not server slot id which migth be different depending on game.

Enter command in console:

• PB_Power

You get following output:

It says that 'Power Kicking Enabled' so we can use power kicking. Almost all servers have power kicking enabled by default unless admin has turned it off with PB_SV_PowerDef.

Here we see that Jack has PB slot# 6.

Everybody on this server seems to have power level of 1. It tells us that each player has 1 vote what comes to kicking. Then it shows 0/10 for each player saying that nobody has any votes against them and they need 10 votes to get kicked out.

xxxx is just guid that I edited out.

Next thing you want to do is actually cast your vote. With command:

• PB_Kick 6

You get output (where you get it depends on game):

It says that one vote is casted against Jack by Kirka (me name changed)

As other people vote too everybody will see that votes are casted. Here is example output:

Here you see that Jack has 4 of 10 votes required for getting kicked out.

Unfortunately on this server people didn't know how to kick people out with punkbuster and they only voted him out. This guy was voted out with games on system 4 times but always he joined in again.

If this punkbuster power kick would have been succesfull, he would have stayed out for 10 minutes (as defined by PB_SV_PowerKickLen).
