Tips and tricks to find your FTP path/location for use in Auto-MBL

Auto-detect This retrieves the fs_homepath setting via RCON and uses this as your FTP location. This may or may not work, depending on how your provider has set up FTP access. If they "chroot" you via FTP so you cannot see the full path to the PB directory then this will probably fail to work.

Use a desktop FTP client Load up your favourite FTP client and connect to your server. Next, locate your PB directory. If you are connecting to a Linux server, this may be in a hidden directory - for example with Call of Duty, the files may be in /home/user/.callofduty/ which your FTP client may hide (as it starts with a full stop).

Your FTP client will show something like this in the address or status bar:

If it shows a full URL like the first, you need this portion: /my_server/pb/

Remember your slash! Auto-MBL needs a slash on the end of the path. If you get a path like this: /my_server/pb

You will need to add a slash onto the end, like so: /my_server/pb/

Spaces in the path Lastly, if your path contains spaces such as: /My COD Server on 123.123.123.123/pb/

Try to change the spaces to this: %20

So the above path would become: /My%20COD%20Server%20on%20123.123.123.123/pb/

Auto-MBL v4 Df has been working on AMBL v4 (or so he assures us), and it's set to feature an integrated FTP browser, which will hopefully alleviate some of the problems people have had.
